I was selected to be one of the three contestants to showcase my poem in a digital version.
As part of the Pandemic Poetry Project (we are working hard on the publication and are excited to share it in the coming weeks), we have partnered with David's Harp Foundation.
Their website is here: https://davidsharpfoundation.org/
They are a youth-oriented organization that, among many other things, helps young people learn Audio, Visual, and Tech skills to help with employment in the Audio/Visual Industries. One of the youth producers at David's Harp would like to create some short films of some of the poems that were submitted, and Kyle's poem "Three Classes Each Day" is one of them!
Kyle, you would have the opportunity to connect with the film-making team and contribute to the final product, or not - depending on your interest and availability. The one thing we would need from you, Kyle, is permission to use your poem for this project.
The films will be screened at the "book launch" of the Pandemic Poetry Anthology, and made available for viewing online, along with the Digital Anthology.
